Scope and Goal

It is remarkable to observe where modern condensed matter physics is taking us by expanding its frontiers to various territories previously uncharted. In this workshop, we would like to explore selected topics of such frontiers in modern condensed matter physics research. Topics may include topological insulator, quantum computation architecture, iron and copper-oxide based superconductivity, and other correlated electron phenomena.

We plan to have a rather small, but intimate workshop encouraging more in-depth discussions between speakers and participants.
