1. »ý¸íÇö»óÀÇ ¹°¸®ÇÐ: º¹Àâ°è¿Í Á¤º¸ - ÃÖ¹«¿µ ±³¼ö (¾à·Âº¸±â) 

     »ý¸íÇö»óÀÇ ±Ã±ØÀû ÀÌÇØ´Â 21¼¼±â¿¡ °¡Àå Áß¿äÇÑ ¿¬±¸ ÁÖÁ¦·Î ¿©°ÜÁø´Ù. ¹°¸®ÇÐÀÇ °üÁ¡¿¡¼­ »ýü°è´Â ¸¹Àº ±¸¼º¿øÀ¸·Î ÀÌ·ç¾îÁø º¹Àâ°èÀ̸ç, »ý¸íÀ̶õ »ýü°è°¡ º¸ÀÌ´Â Çùµ¿Çö»ó, °ð ±¸¼º¿ø »çÀÌÀÇ »óÈ£ÀÛ¿ë¿¡ µû¶ó ¶°¿À¸£´Â Áý´Ü¼ºÁú·Î¼­ Çؼ®ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù. 2. Patterns and Waves in Living Systems - ÀÌ°æÁø ±³¼ö (¾à·Âº¸±â)

      Broadly speaking, I am interested in biophysical problems in which nonlinear dynamics and nonequilibrium pattern formation play an essential role.  These are ubiquitous in nature: By all means, "living" creatures are dynamical and mostly nonlinear; besides, they self-organize to form patterns and waves.  In this review talk I will discuss several exciting  pattern dynamics in biological systems, ranging from a crawling behavior of single cell to cardiac waves and bursting neural networks.  Some key features of the phenomena can be understood through generic nonlinear models, and surprisingly they share very similar  principles.
