Basic Information about the Workshop

• The nearest airport is Incheon International Airport. See the directions from the airport to KIAS and the directions from the airport to Ulji-Ro CO-OP Residence for instructions.

• The conference is being held on the KIAS campus (International Conference Hall, 1^st floor. & seminar room).

• The scientific program will start on Sept. 27, Monday and end on Oct. 1, Friday.  We cover accommodation from arrival on Sept. 26 to departing on Oct. 2.  KIAS will directly pay for the accommodation. You do not need to pay for it. Please let us know your arrival and departure information.

• Accommodation is in two places (KIAS apartments and Ulji-Ro CO-OP residence):

The KIAS apartments are right in the campus. So this is convenient. Each unit has a queen-sized bed and two single beds with two bathrooms. Each apartment is 138 m^2 size and will be shared by two persons. Breakfast is not served, but KIAS cafeteria is open from 7:45 am to 9:30 am. The number of apartments for the workshop is limited.

The Ulji-Ro CO-OP residence is in the area of city center. It takes about 30 ~ 40 minutes to KIAS by bus and subway and 15~20 minutes by taxi. Taxi fares are quite cheap in Korea and people can share the taxi fare. Show your taxi driver a map for the taxi driver to come to KIAS.  See Ulji-Ro CO-OP Residence to KIAS for detailed directions. Breakfast is included in the CO-OP residence.

Internet will be available for both accommodations.

• The accommodations are open on a first-come first served basis. Please let us know your wishes as soon as possible.  We will take people's requests into account as much as possible, but the various types of accommodation are limited. Please contact Jeong-Yup Lee jylee@kias.re.kr for the reservation of accommodation. 

• There will be a snack with sandwiches in the morning before the program starts. Lunch will be served in KIAS cafeteria. For dinner, you should find a restaurant. We provide each participant 100,000 Korean won to cover dinner meals. However the money will only be given to you after Sept. 29, Wed. , so please prepare by bringing some Korean won for your local costs before you receive the money.

• On Day1, there will be a registration and an information session. On Day 3, there will be no program scheduled in the afternoon. One can use the time for excursion. There will be a banquet hosted by KIAS. Every workshop participant is welcome.
